Jeremy Koob
Post-doctoral Fellow
Jeremy is a biochemist focused on building tools for engineering biology. During his PhD in synthetic biology with Fei Chen at Harvard University, he developed reprogrammable RNA sensors for cell-type specific protein delivery. Currently at the Institute for Protein Design, he designs new-to-nature enzymes for sustainability applications, such as enzymes that break down plastic waste.
As a FutureHouse Fellow, Jeremy will develop and integrate AI agents into protein design workflows to accelerate the discovery of biocatalysts for sustainable chemistry.
